Buckley Fund Scholarship Application Deadline Extended!
Buckley Fund Scholarship
This scholarship honors the memory of John L. "Jack" Buckley, the 6th president of ASIS (1960-1961). It was started and funded by ASIS Region 1C (Northern California and Northern Nevada) for the benefit of their local members. For this reason, it is open only to members of these ASIS chapters: California Central Valley, Fresno Valley, Golden Gate, Northern Nevada, Sacramento, San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey Bay.
Scholarship funds may be used towards ASIS Certification (preparation and/or exam fees) or the costs of higher education including college, community college or technical education in security, criminal justice or a related field. Award funds may be used for acceptable scholarship/grant purposes as defined by the IRS such as: tuition, fees, course-related books, supplies and equipment, room, board and research.
